20th Pastoral Anniversary
Celebrating Dr. Michael A. Bridges

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For the past 20 years, God has entrusted Dr. Michael A. Bridges with one of the most precious assignments in all the earth: to lead, teach, and most importantly love His people.
The Concord Baptist Church is excited to announce that we are preparing to celebrate our Pastor, Dr. Bridges, for his 20-year Pastoral Anniversary this year. We thank God for blessing us with such a humble servant leader and a man after God’s own heart. He has been a part of our lives and a part of this community his entire life. The ministry, under his leadership, has experienced immense growth and has impacted our community in ways too numerous to measure.
We would like to invite you to celebrate with us! We are looking forward to a spirit filled worship celebration on Sunday, June 9, 2019. We will have a 10:00 am service with Dr. Timothy L. Hunter, pastor of the Island Creek Baptist Church, as our special guest messenger along with the Island Creek Baptist Church family. Dinner will be served in our Family Life Center immediately following the service.
A commemorative souvenir book is being created to memorialize this notable occasion. We believe the Bible is clear in encouraging us to show our love and appreciation to our pastor and first lady as they continue to labor for the Lord so faithfully in ministry. The Bible tells us in 1 Timothy 5:17, “Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially they who labor in the Word and doctrine.”
We invite you to participate and share in this occasion by placing an ad or message of gratitude/encouragement for our pastor in this Commemorative Book! Please encourage your family, friends, organizations and business associates to join you in taking out an ad.
To be sure to be included, we ask that you please submit your ad(s) and donation no later than Sunday, May 19, 2019. Our deadline is firm to ensure we have time to produce an excellent memento.
