Annual Women’s Day

Today was Women’s Day and we honor and thank God for all of our women today! The Senior Gospel choir touched our hearts with songs of praise and Pastor Bridges delivered a powerful and truth filled word on women and “Laboring for the Lord” (Luke 8:1-3). It’s not too late to get a CD or DVD of the service, please contact Bro. Nathaniel Sarratt or one of the Audio/Video team members to get your copy today. If you don’t have a church home, we welcome you to join us next Sunday at 10am to see for yourself what God can do!

Some of the announcements if you missed them:

• Today at 3pm – the Church Family is invited to Galilee Baptist Church, Blacksburg, SC this afternoon. Pastor Bridges will deliver the Spoken Word and the Senior Gospel Choir will deliver songs of praise.
• The Senior Missionary #2 will meet Tuesday at 6:30pm at Concord Acres.
• For the month of August there will only be Wednesday Midday Bible study at 11:30am. There will be no Wednesday evening Bible Study in August.
• The All Male Choir will sing at Holy Temple on Wednesday and will rehearse this Thursday at 7pm.
• Mass Choir will rehearse this Saturday at 12noon.
• Sisters and Brothers Committed to the Community is having a fish fry at 608 S. Granard St.
• There are several upcoming Youth trips being organized. Please sign up in the lobby for interest in each one.
  • Bowling night
  • A trip to the Columbia Zoo for children between ages of 7 – 12 on August 10^th.
  • Youth Swimming trip for ages 13 and up (Parent volunteers who know how to swim also requested)
• August 3^rd from 9am-1pm is the ReGenesis Back to School Health Fair at Broad River Electric. Free Health Screening for children. More information on the ReGenesis website at: http://myrhc.org/AboutRHC/BacktoSchoolHealthFair.aspx
• August 4^th the church family is invited to Mt Rowell Baptist Church, Union, SC for their homecoming service. Pastor Bridges will deliver the Spoken Word.
• August 11^th – Concord Baptist Church Homecoming
• August 12^th-15^th 7pm nightly – Revival Services at Concord Baptist Church. Rev. Billy Houze of First Baptist Church, Lawndale, NC will be the Revivalist for the week.
• August 18^th – The church family is invited to Fountain of Life Baptist Church for Rev. Ricky Sarrratt’s Pastoral Anniversary. Dinner will be served before the service.
• August 19^th – 21^st at 7pm nightly, Pastor Bridges will be the Revivalist at Green Bethel Baptist Church of Boiling Springs, NC.
• August 22^nd at 7pm –  Pastor Bridges will be the Revivalist at Community Baptist Church, Spartanburg, SC.
