The Perfect Recommendation

We give all honor to God and we praise His holy name! We rejoice and are thankful for the souls that came this morning and this month that have received His blessed gift of salvation! This morning Pastor Bridges talked about “The Perfect Recommendation” (2 Kings 5:1-15).  We were encouraged to have strong faith and to be a blessing to others as exemplified through the actions of the young maid. Yet we were also reminded that our deliverance may not always come when and how we want it, but God is faithful and it will come if we just do our part! If you haven’t already, won’t you humble yourself and accept what Christ has to offer?  It’s not too late to get a CD or DVD of either of the services, please contact Bro. Nathaniel Sarratt or one of the Audio/Video team members to get your copy today.  If you don’t have a church home, we welcome you to join us this week for our revival, Monday through Thursday at 7pm, and next Sunday at 10am to see for yourself what God can do!

  • Today at 3:00 PM – Pastor Bridges will preach at the United Temple of Praise Deliverance Church in Spartanburg, SC for their building fund program. The Senior Choir is rendering songs of praise. Come out and join us!
  • Revivals this week:

    Island Creek  —- Mass Choir
  • August 31st Youth Sunday. Please see Sis. Stephanie Tate or Sis. Annette Smith if you would like to participate on the program.
  • Bible Studies will resume on Wednesday, September 3rd at 11:30am and 7pm. Come out and join us!
  • On Wednesday, Sept 3rd at 6:00 pm, Pastor Bridges has asked to meet with all Presidents/Department Heads in preparation for Concord’s hosting of the TMBA Week. Please be present and on time.
  • The TMBA Annual Banquet will be hosted by Concord Baptist Church this year on Saturday, September 27th at 4:00pm. Tickets are $10. All are asked to come out and support this great event. Please see Sis. Tela Felder for tickets or more info.
