Walking with God

When praises go up, blessings come down! Based upon the atmosphere and worship this morning, 2015 promises to the be our members best year yet! Pastor Bridges encouraged us all to be “Walking With God” (Genesis 5:21-24) and challenged the church family to walk together. If we will encourage each other, be dependable as Enoch was, and walk together in a sincere effort to follow Christ, ALL things are possible! It’s not too late to get a CD or DVD of either of the services, please contact Bro. Nathaniel Sarratt or one of the Audio/Video team members to get your copy today.  If you don’t have a church home, we welcome you to join us this Sunday at 10am to see for yourself what God can do!

The announcements from this morning in case you missed them:

• The Senior Gospel Choir will rehearse this Thursday, January 8th at 5:30pm.
• The Shining Stars will practice Saturday, Jan 10th and 12 noon. Please be present and on time. New members are welcome. We will not have practice on the 4th Saturday due to the Battle of the Bands trip. We will practice January 31st at noon to begin preparing for our anniversary.The Advisors.
• Hospitality Day is Sunday, January 11th. The Hospitality Ministry will be in charge of morning worship service. Rev. J. Archie Calhoun and the Corinth Baptist Church of Union will be our special guests for 3:00pm service.
