We belong to God!

All glory to God for a Holy Ghost super good time this morning! Our Deacons, Mass Choir, and ministers wonderfully set the atmosphere this morning for the Holy Spirit to do His work. Pastor Bridges reminded us what it means to be a child of God in his sermon, “I Belong to God” (Mark 12:13-17). While our jobs and even people can try to make us feel like they own us, they don’t and they don’t have any real power over us. We are children of the King and He will take care of all of our needs. We are on the winning team, and its not too late to join!  Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior today!  It’s not too late to get a CD or DVD of either of the services, please contact Bro. Nathaniel Sarratt or one of the Audio/Video team members to get your copy today.  If you don’t have a church home, we welcome you to join us this Sunday at 10am to see for yourself what God can do!

The announcements from this morning in case you missed them:

• The nursery ministry is open during morning worship service for ages 4 and under. Parents who would like to use the service or anyone interested in volunteering are asked to please contact Sis. Angela McGill or Sis. Mary Ellis for more information. All volunteers will be screened.
• Everyone that is 70 years and up are asked to sign up on the list on the table in the lobby for a special tribute planned for Black History Month. The last day to register is February 15th.
• The men’s basketball team won last Monday in their game against Limestone. There is no game this week.
• On Thursday, the Senior Gospel Choir will practice at 5:30pm followed by the All Male Choir at 7.
• The Shining Stars will practice this Saturday at noon in preparation for our upcoming anniversary. The Advisors.
• The Annual Church meeting is Saturday, February 6th at 4:00 pm. Concord Members only are asked to come out.
• On February 15th at 3pm, the church family is invited to Travelers Rest Baptist Church to help them pack the pews. Pastor Bridges will deliver the Spoken Word and the Mass Choir will render songs of praise.
• Concord will be hosting a Deep Sea Fishing trip May 2, 2015. There will be 18 available spots. The cost $200.00 per person; money is to be paid by March 9, 2015. See Deacon B. Lewis Blanton for more information.
