My, My, My

Praise God! What a powerful service this morning! In his sermon,“My, My, My” (Psalm 28), Pastor Bridges cautioned us to be careful to not fall in love with material things. Things pass away and can’t help you anyway. Instead of depending on things to cope with the troubles that life brings us, depend on God. Build your relationship with Him by studying, praising and praying for yourself so when you have tough times you can rest confidently knowing you are in His care and everything will be alright. If you don’t have a church home, we welcome you to join us this Sunday at 10am to see for yourself what God can do!

The announcements for this week:

• The Senior Gospel Choir will rehearse this Thursday, February 23rd at 5:30pm. Sis. Millie Vanlue, Pres.
• The Junior Missionaries participating in the TMBA Choir will have rehearsal Saturday, March 11 at 12 Noon at Limestone Baptist Church.
• The Thickety Mountain Baptist Association Countywide Revival is coming up in March. All services will be at Limestone Baptist Church, Gaffney.
  • The Prayer Breakfast will be Saturday, March 11th @ 9am
  • The Youth Explosion will be Sunday, March 12th @ 3pm
  • Revival services will be Monday and Tuesday, March 13th & 14th @ 7pm Nightly
• On Sunday, March 19th at 2pm, the church family is invited to Mt Tabor to help them celebrate their 148th Anniversary. Pastor Bridges will deliver the message for the occasion.
• Registration is now open for the Free Summer Bowling program at the Big E. All registered children under the age of 18 may bowl two games per day for free. Up to 4 adults in a family can also be registered for a small one time fee. Go to www.kidsbowlfree.com for more information and to sign up.
