Youth Sunday!

Wow!!!! What a wonderful day of worship we had on Sunday!! Our youth did an excellent job of leading our Youth Day service from the devotion until the benediction. Some were acknowledged for their achievements and awards for displaying the gifts God blesses them with.  Dr. Rashad Fitzpatrick, principle of Gaffney High gave children of all ages wisdom and success pointers.
Then Minister Terrence Gist blessed us with the sermon from Ephesians 3:20 entitled “Jesus Has The Hook Up.”

• Spartanburg Community College is offering several STEM camps this summer for youth ages 8-17. Go to

• Concord’s Anointed Academy registration is CLOSED. All spots are full. Thank you for your understanding.
• The Senior Gospel Choir will rehearse this Tuesday at 5:30pm. Sis. Millie Vanlue, Pres.
• The All Male Chorus will rehearse this Tuesday at 7pm.
• Missionary #2 will meet at Concord Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 1st at 6:30 pm. Sis. Mary Jolly, President
• The 5th Annual Timken Cruise for a Cure benefitting Relay for Life will be Saturday, May 5th from 9am – 3pm at the Gaffney Bearing Plant.
• Mothers’ Day Brunch will be Saturday, May 12th here at Concord Baptist Church in the Family Life Center.
• All men are invited to the 1000 Men Praying event on Saturday, May 12th at 11am – 12noon on Love Field of the Cherokee County Recreation Department. This is sponsored by local pastors and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
• Graduates Day will be Sunday, June 3rd during morning worship.
• All 5K, High School and College graduates are asked to please register on the list in the lobby by today, Sunday, April 29th. Contact Sis. Shari Byers asap if you did not sign up. Thank you!
• Limestone Missionary Baptist Church Male Choir 47th Anniversary will be celebrated on Saturday, May 5th at 6pm.
• Gordon Mortuary of 211 E. Fredrick Street, Gaffney, will have an open house on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 5pm – 8pm. See Kendall Kirby for more information.
• Our very own, Kimberly Byars will be speaking at an empowerment seminar this Saturday, May 5th at from 10a-12pm at the Gaffney Visitors Center and Art Gallery, 210 W. Frederick St, Gaffney.
