Black History Celebration

We thank God for Rev. Dr. Leon Rector Jr. Who shared his wisdom and encouraged us not to forget where we’ve come from (Deuteronomy 8:1-5).   Share your story with others and give honor to God for bringing us through so that his glory will be passed on to the next generation. God’s love is like cooling water and you ought to run and tell it! A big thank you for everyone who participated in the black history program today to make it a great success. It’s not too late to get a CD or DVD of either of the services, please contact Bro. Nathaniel Sarratt or one of the Audio/Video team members to get your copy today.  If you don’t have a church home, we welcome you to join us next Sunday at 10am to see for yourself what God can do!

• This afternoon at 3:00pm the Bridges Family will hold their 13th Anniversary Program at Concord Baptist Church.
• Concord Men’s basketball team will play at Cherokee Creek Baptist Church Monday at 7pm.
• The Junior Missionary will meet Saturday March 1st at the TMBA Building at 11:00am
• Church t-shirts will be available for purchase through next Sunday, March 2nd. Prices are about $10 ($12 for 2XL and larger). Please see Sis. Stephanie Tate, Min. Verlinda Mintz or Sis. Annette Smith to order yours today.
• March 2nd at 3pm – The Shining Stars will have their annual anniversary program.
• The Thickety Mountain Baptist Association will hold it’s County Wide Revival March 10-13 at 7pm nightly at the Bethel Baptist Church, Gaffney, SC. Rev. Jasper William of Atlanta, Georgia will be the revivalist.
