Graduation!!!

Graduation!!! The reason we attend, study, learn, and endure the lessons associated with getting a great education.
Today we honored our 5K, High School, and College Graduates.

The Word came from Philippians 4:1-3,23 entitled “The Book of Life.” Books play an important role in our development. From coloring books to cookbooks. The Bible is one book we all need to grow in grace and knowledge of God and His only begotten son, Jesus. All accomplishments are valuable. However, having your name in the Lamb’s Book of Life is everlasting.

The announcements for this week:

• On Friday, June 8th, all youth are welcome to come out and join us for a Youth Fun Day from 8am – 5pm. We will have games and activities. Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided. This is free. Please sign up in the lobby to help us plan for adequate food and supervision.
• On June 10th, we will celebrate Pastor Bridges 19th pastoral anniversary during morning worship at 10am. Rev. C. Dennis Rector will bring the message and the Piney Grove Baptist Church of Cowpens will be our special guests.
• On June 13th, Dr. Bridges will be the revivalist at Limestone Missionary Baptist Church’s Youth Revival at 7pm. All are invited to come out.
• The Know2 Summer Reading Program will be  June 13th – July 25th. It will be every Wednesday from 9 am – 11 am.
• On Fathers Day, June 17th, we will have special guests – the Men of Revelation. The Men will be in charge of morning service.
• Winshape Camp registration is open and they are accepting applications for scholarships for those in need. Please go to http://www.winshapegaffney.com for more information.
