Welcome to Concord Baptist Church! We are so grateful that you have chosen to become a part of God’s family by joining our church family. We, the members of Concord Baptist Church, use the Holy Bible as our supreme guide for directions from the Holy Spirit. Through His guidance we have adopted by-laws that are followed under direction of our pastor.
These classes will help equip members for their new journey with our Lord. They are held each Sunday morning at 9 a.m.
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but might through God for pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every though to the obedience of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10: 4-5.
The following topics are taught :
Salvation – only comes through the blood of Jesus.
The Church – “…on this rock I will build My church.”
Prayer – man should always pray.
The Holy Spirit -“Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; But if I depart, I will send him unto you.” John 14:7
The Gifts of the Spirit – “Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.” I Corinthians 12:1 (KJV)
Praise – Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord. ” Psalms 113:1 (KJV)
Worship – “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipper shall worship the Father in Spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him.” John 4:23
Tithing – “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.” Malachi 3:10.
As we study these topics our personal relationship with God will grow.
