We have Missionary Societies because Jesus Christ commanded that missionary work be done throughout the world, and upon His resurrection said to the women, “Go Tell.” Mary started telling the Good News almost at the opened tomb and women must still carry the Gospel message in obedience to Jesus’ command. Missions is lifting up Jesus for men to see.
