Promises, Promises, Promises
Have you ever had anyone make you a promise? Did they keep it? Has that same person at a different time make another promise to you? Have you made promises? Are you still successful in keeping the promise?

The announcements for this week:
- No Bible Study this month. All are encouraged to attend revival services this month.
- Everyone is invited to Montgomery Chapel Baptist Church for their revival services, Aug 20-22 at 7pm nightly. Dr Bridges will deliver the spoken word.
- Jerusalem Christian Fellowship Church of God, Shelby, NC will be having their Homecoming & Revival Services August 19th @ 3pm and August 20-22 @ 7pm Nightly.
- The Shining Stars will not practice this week nor sing on Sunday morning.
- TMBA Jr Convention Choir Practices will be:

The Annual Session will be Sat, Sept 22 at 11am. - Aug 26 Concord will have early morning service at 8:30am. We are invited to Island Creek Baptist Church for their Homecoming service. Dr. Bridges will deliver the morning message.
- Any youth interested in going to the Compassion Experience in Spartanburg on Saturday, Sept 8th are asked to sign up on the list in the lobby.
- Free Youth Trip to the SC State Youth Day. SC State is playing Bethune-Cookman. Please sign up in the lobby by Sunday, Sept 9th if you are interested in going. *4th Graders and younger need a chaperone. See a Youth Advisor for questions.
