When the Crowd Turns on You

We are so excited and grateful for another day to come in and worship our Lord! It’s spring and this Palm Sunday we enter holy week approaching Easter day, the day we celebrate with thanksgiving to our Savior for His supreme sacrifice! Dr. Bridges advised us on what to do “When the Crowd Turns on You.” (Mark 15:8-20). Be careful what crowd you are running with! The crowd won’t always take you to the right place or have the right intentions. When you find the crowd turns on you, rejoice and be glad anyway. Hold on to Jesus, you have victory in Him and in Him alone! If you don’t have a church home, we welcome you to join us this Sunday at 10am to see for yourself what God can do!

The announcements for this week:

    • Missionary #2 will meet this Tuesday at 6:30pm.
    • Junior Missionary will meet Saturday at 10am. Also, on Monday, April 2nd we will be serving at the Gaffney Soup Kitchen.
    • Youth Revival will be April 2nd and 3rd at 7pm nightly. On Monday, we will hear from Rev. Victor Glen of Mt Calvary Baptist Church of Whitestone, SC. On Tuesday, we will hear from Rev. Michael Golden of Limestone Baptist Church, Gaffney, SC.
    • There will be a veterans benefits workshop and claims counselors available to help veterans on Thursday, March 29th from 10am – 2pm at USC Upstate in Spartanburg. Vietnam Veterans will receive special recognition.
    • All are invited to a free youth ministry workshop at Fosters Grove Baptist Church of Chesnee, SC. Saturday, April 14th at 09:30am. Alphaeus Anderson is the facilitator for this event.
    • The junior missionary are sponsoring a trip to JoyFest at Carowinds on May 26th.  If you are interested in tickets ($35), please sign up on the list in the lobby by April 8th. All money due by April 22nd.
