Get Back to the Basics
It is time to get “Back to Basics” (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Not only should we run and tell others about all he’s done for us, but we need to remember to pray and praise God in our prayers because He is the greatest! Some of the announcements if you missed them:
- Missionary #2 will meet Tuesday at 6:30pm at Concord Acres.
- There will not be any Bible Study this Wednesday morning or evening.
- The Senior Choir all rehearse Thursday at 5:30pm.
- The State Baptist Education and Missionaries Baptist Convention will be held at Mt Moriah Baptist Church, Spartanburg from May 5th – 9th
- The Shining Stars will not rehearse this Saturday.
- All are invited out to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life at the Temkin Track, Friday May 10th from 7pm – 1am.
- The Concord Baptist Church Missionaries Annual Mother/Daughter breakfast will be held May 11th from 9 a.m. – 11a.m. in the Family Life Center. Rev. Angelia Early will deliver the morning message.
- May 12th Special Mother’s Day Program – The Mothers will be in charge of the morning worship. All are asked to wear white for the occasion.
- May 19th 3:00 p.m. – Senior Gospel Choir Anniversary
- Sunday, May 26th will be Graduates Day. All kindergarteners going to first grade, high school seniors, and college students graduating this month are asked to sign up in the church lobby.
