Yes, God wants you too!

Oh what a blessing service was this morning! The Holy Spirit had all the saints on fire today! Through Pastor Bridges’ sermon this morning, “You can’t tell by looking at me” (1 Samuel 16:1-11), God reminded us that he doesn’t see us the way man sees us. Hallelujah for that! No matter what you’ve done in the past or you are doing today, He has ALL power to break the chains that bind us! If we just  confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts, God can save, heal, strengthen, deliver, inspire and use ANYBODY! Oh, we thank you Jesus!!! If you don’t have a church home, we welcome you to join us next Sunday at 10am to see for yourself what God can do!

Some of the announcements if you missed them:

• No Bible study this Wednesday.
• The Usher Board Anniversary will be September 15th. Rev. Daunte Murphy of Shiloh Baptist Church, Shelby, NC will be our special guest.
• The Thickety Mountain Baptist Association Baptist Week will be September 22nd – 24th. Our own Rev. Early will be the speaker on Saturday morning. All are encouraged to come out to support these services.
• September 29th will be Youth Day; the youth will be in charge of morning worship.
