The Power of Prayer
A little bit of rain won’t stop our worship! What a great time we had in the Lord this morning. The Senior Choir blessed us with songs and Dr. Bridges reminded us about “The Power of Prayer” (Matthew 6:1-15). Primitive weapons such as a rock and stick can still do significant physical harm, but the most powerful weapon that we all have doesn’t even require a permit. Today, people are quick to put all of their business out on social media or run to your ‘friends’ to tell them your troubles, but have you gone to God about your problems? Have you asked him to intervene on someone else’s behalf? Prayer is the most powerful weapon in our arsenal to protect ourselves from the evils of this world. Developing your relationship with God by communing with Him through prayer is essential to living a Christian life. Make time to spend with Him daily, and watch how situations will start to turn around in your life. If you don’t have a church home, we welcome you to join us this Sunday at 10am to see for yourself what God can do!
